Crimmins duo, Schlangen, Beemer, Reed steal Sports Park Raceway spotlight
On Saturday night, a full card of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action at Sports Park Raceway saw multiple drivers visit victory lane.
In the United Plant Services USRA Modified class, Bill Crimmins of Fort Dodge earned the victory. Lyle Sathoff of Sherburn, Minn., finished second, followed by Lee Beemer of Fairmont, Minn., in third. Sean Barragan of Sergeant Bluff, and Robert Bennett of Woolstock, completed the top five.
Jason Schlangen of Cresco, was the winner of the Marsh Concrete USRA Stock Car feature. Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge, finished second, and Jason Minnehan of Churdan, placed third. Jason Purvis of Boone, and Todd Reitzler of Grinnell, rounded out the top five.
The White Transfer & Storage USRA B-Mod feature was won by Klay Beemer of Fairmont, Minn. Ty Griffith of Blairsburg, finished second, followed by Ashton Pankow of Elma, in third. Ted Gould of Sheldahl, and Matt Grall of Fort Dodge, completed the top five.
In the Pickett Salvage USRA Hobby Stock feature, Riley Crimmins of Fort Dodge, took the checkered flag. Parker Anderson of Welcome, Minn., finished second, followed by Jeremy Wegner of Greattinger, in third. Bryce Sommerfeld of Fort Dodge, and Jeremy Crimmins of Fort Dodge, rounded out the top five.
Trent Reed of Missouri Valley, took the victory in the Matt's Tire Service USRA Tuner feature. Justin Reed of Missouri Valley, and Dillon Riehle of Waukon, finished second and third, respectively. Charles Prime of Britt, and Josh Winegarden of Clare, rounded out the top five.
The Dillon Tree Service Vintage Car feature was won by Dino Rodish of West Des Moines. Bill VanHauen of Nora Springs, finished second, and Pudge Grabill of Harlan, placed third. Rex Jansonius of Geneva, and Mark Chance of Clive, completed the top five.
Gerald Ford of Webster City, secured the win in the Figure 8 - FWD Stock class. Danelle Lenz of Fort Dodge, finished second, and Todd Hildman of Britt, placed third. Brayden Cundiff of Palmer, and Thomas Ford of Dakota City, rounded out the top five.
Finally, Nick Hogan of Fort Dodge, won the Culver's 4.6 Crown Vic feature. Tyler Crimmins of Fort Dodge, finished second, with Nate Hogan of Fort Dodge, in third. John Berg of Creston, and Nick Sawdy of Fort Dodge, completed the top five.
